Amazing August

Well, we have said "goodbye" to the summer. It's September already - how in the world did that happen?? We had a wonderful August, it just went by way too fast. We visited one of the big parks in our town one afternoon for a nice nature walk. Connor just loves the outdoors so of course he was right in his element. Then we geared up for a trip to Massachusetts to visit my family. Connor and I flew up by ourselves and Scott joined us later for a nice visit - the only real "vacation" we have had this year. We both took a couple days off and spent Labor Day enjoying the cooler weather and the lake. Connor's favorite new word is "boat" - I think he inherited the Holt motorhead gene.
