We had a very busy Easter weekend. Scott's parents visited us for the day on Saturday and we packed as many Easter activities into the day as we could. We started off at the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt, which was a lot of fun. Connor's friends Abigail and Sarah were there and the three of them hunted way too many eggs. Here is Connor in action and with his loot:

Then we went back to the house (a whole 50 foot walk from the neighborhood park area) and dyed Easter Eggs. Despite his desperate tries to get his clothes completely stained, I am happy to report the only thing that is probably still all pink and blue is Granna Hudson's fingers.
Anna's day was a bit more laid back, she got lots of love from her Uncle Wes, who she absolutely adores. And lots of snuggles from Mommy too.
On Easter Sunday we headed off to church bright and early to the 8:30am service and then I worked in the nursery because they had about 30 toddlers creating pure mayhem for the 9:45am service. When we arrived back home we found the Easter Bunny had visited our house while we were at church. Connor ripped through his Easter Basket in record time:
Then, we tried to get pictures outside but, in true two-year-old style, it was not very successful. We did get these two pictures, but getting pictures outside at noon on a clear blue day is not very good in terms of shadows...since we didn't have much shade in our yard at that time of day and since Connor was NOT happy to have his picture taken, we gave up and figured these would have to be good enough:
