Four Generations and Counting

Anna and I jetted off to Minnesota last weekend to spend some time with my grandmother and uncle (my mother's family). My grandmother is 94 years old and is thrilled to have 3 great-grandchildren. We had a fantastic time visiting with Grandma and managed to get a couple good pictures:
Mom, Uncle Ralph, Grandma, Anna, and Christie

Anna and her Great-Grandma

On Sunday we went to the Pine Island CheeseFest parade (yes, we were deep in the mid-west). Uncle Ralph is a Shriner and rides in their motorcycle patrol in parades all over the area. You should have heard the crowd get excited when they say the motorcycles coming up the street. I hadn't seen my uncle ride in a parade in probably 18 years, so it was quite a treat! Anna slept through almost the entire thing, but I snapped some good (and not so good) pictures.

The Cheese
(I bet Wisconsin might have an arguement regarding the "Cheese Capital of the World" statment. And don't ask me what the 'Cemetary Walk' that is advertised on the blue sign is...)

The Shriners zooming up the street

They were going so fast, this is the only picture I got of my uncle!

"The Jeep" - Anna and I got to ride in this to the parade - FUN!

The U of M Golden Gopher's Marching Band

And last but not least...the line of tractors at the end of the parade
