"What's that noise?"
On Friday we were headed home from being out and when we got into the car it was quite warm from sitting in the sun. The air conditioning came on instead of the heat, and it's important to understand that the AC comes out of the ceiling of our van, whereas the heat comes out of the floor. So this is the first time Connor has really heard the AC in months, and it sounds much like it does in an airplane.
Connor: "What's that noise, mommy?"
Me: "It's the air conditioning, it is cooling down the car."
Connor: "What's that noise?"
Me: "It's the air conditioning."
Connor: "What's that noise?"
Me: "What do you think it is?"
Connor: "It's gas"
So apparently when the AC is on in the car Connor thinks the car has some gastric problem.
"Yummmm"
During the same car ride Connor pipes up from the back seat (yes, he still speaks in 3rd person...sigh....)
Connor: "Connor picking his nose"
Me: "Connor - gross! We don't pick our nose!"
(several seconds go by)
Connor: "Woah! Big Booger!!!!!"
(I peek into my rearview mirror - he is holding up his index finger with the results of his nose mining)
Me: "Connor, we don't pick our nose! Wait until we get home and I will wipe it off your finger."
(about 30 seconds later we pull into our driveway)
Me: "Connor, let me wipe your finger off with a tissue. Where is your booger?"
Connor: "I ate it"

I love it. I can see you freaking out about the booger, and him non-chalantly mention eating it.
Oh yuck... I have never understood why kids eat boogers! But, I got a good laugh out of your story!
